UV is very effective in destroying bacteria when it comes to indoor air pollution. It is known to be as much as 99.9% effective.  The uv air cleaner is made in the U.S.A. and comes standard with a 10 year manufacturer's warranty.

Right now, any building with forced air heating and/or cooling can utilize our system. Anyone with rudimentary home improvement skills can install this system in their house or condominium in about a half-hour. This system should be installed after the furnace filter, but before any humidifiers or the heating unit itself. To do this, 2 holes are made in the ductwork of your ventilation system. The unit is slid into the holes and 6 self tapping screws hold it in place. Alternatively, the cost to have a heating and air conditioning serviceman do the work would probably cost $60 - $80.

Maintenance is minimal. The bulbs should be kept as dust-free as possible to ensure their maximum effectiveness. This is easily accomplished by regular changings of the air filter which should be done anyway. The bulbs should ideally be replaced every 12 months for maximum effectiveness.
